Pricing Commercial Analyst - Leading Travel Company

Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the set-up, strategic and tactical pricing;
  • Review performance throughout the selling phase, recommending solutions on pricing and air commitments. He/She also participates in developments and improvements within the commercial department (e.g. structure reviews, implementing new working practices/decision support tools, developing training)
  • Liaises with HQ Revenue Management for regular pricing reviews on the assigned areas of business;
  • Prepares Setup forms and follows their loading through the whole value chain and for the whole process, until it is loaded in the system;
  • Tests and confirms correct functioning and loading of Prices into our Booking engines;
  • Looks after Bonus commission management, loading, checking, communicating and documenting;
  • Gives indications to the Marketing Team about the product to insert on the weekly email blast to Direct Consumers and Travel agencies;
  • Daily supports the Contact Centre for issue related to pricing & product;
  • Prioritises together with the Marketing team visibility of products on our communication materials/channels and regularly checks visibility of products into the system, in particular during the New Campaigns/Promo setup period
  • Performs regular Product & Price Benchmarks for the area of competence and has full awareness of what offered by competitors on similar routes on his area of competence.

Job Requirements: Skills, competencies, experience

  • Fluent spoken and written English;
  • Degree Level is preferred, professional qualifications will also be considered;
  • Experience within a similar role in a commercial environment;
  • Excellent IT skills, with good command of MS Office suite and strong in data manipulation through Excel (Pivot, V Look Up, Index, Match functions);
  • Ability to operate autonomously and establish key priorities for self and others;
  • Ability to be decisive, based on facts, insight, laydowns, principles or policies and when required to challenge the status quo, instigating and managing change effectively;
  • Ability to maintain a positive and approachable attitude while working under pressure;
  • Availability to travel when required, mainly within the EU.
