Jewels Travel & Hospitality Recruitment are seeking an assistant manager to work alongside and directly reporting to the Managing Director.
You will be overseeing the office and point of contact in the absence of the MD in an operations and sales capacity.
You will be managing staff ; Recruitment sales consultants, marketing, administration/compliance, accounts and apprentice staffing.
Ensuring all job adverts are advertised in the relevant areas, and management of the job boards.
Maintaining the website – working with marketing to ensure social media and marketing responsibilities are actioned and on target.
Liaising with the team leader of the sales recruitment staff ensuring sales KPI and targets are met.
Taking and qualifying all calls to the office to speak with the MD. Managing the MD diary and general PA duties.
Running various statistic reports for the MD.
Some credit control in assisting the accounts team.
Ensuring visitors are met and treated in a professional and courtesy manner. Providing relevant material in meeting room for meetings.
Taking notes at any in house recruitment with the MD.
Completing staff contracts, monitoring sickness, holidays and absence, reporting to the MD
We have small office dogs that belong to the MD, so all applicants must be happy with small dogs with no allergies to dogs.
Working within large open plan modern offices based in High Street location.
Must have management experience in a motivated sales targeted environment
Professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to work under pressured environments.
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills; written and spoken
Exceptional spelling and grammar
Self-motivation together with ability to motivate teams; Sales & Operational.
